Bolton's Market, Duanesburg, NY Completely hand painted MDO plywood
I hand painted this sign for Capital Wine & Spirits on the corner of State St. & Lark St. on MDO plywood over ten years ago, and it still looks brand new! Note the sign's pinstriped edge.
A total sign restoration: BEFORE and AFTER. The old paint was removed and fresh oil based paint was soaked into the wood, especially the ends. Then the oil layers were top coated with top quality white 100% acrylic paint. I completely replaced the rusty steel bands and hangers with stainless steel. Then I hand painted the horse & lettering with sign paint.
I restored the doors' white lettering and deep green drop shade on this 1951 Autocar.
