My 1937 Frank Atkinson's Sign Painting included Eccentric French and many more fonts he designed. Earlier editions also included it.  The book was first published in 1909, then 1915, 1929 and finally my 1937 edition.

Many talented sign artists and designers love Frank Atkinson's fonts. Over a dozen have been made into computer fonts, available as a collection from The Fontry.

And, now, Voilà!-  Finally, professional font designer Mike Adkins and I have teamed up and revived this wonderful old font for computer use.

Here is my favorite Atkinson font: Eccentric French, in perfect form, with some great alternate characters, and with perfect kerning.
